This deck merges a Mid-century furniture aesthetic with a Bauhaus-inspired design using unexpected mediums.
Atop nine layers of natural tung oil polish, this mixture of sepia inks, transparent acrylics, and copper foil becomes a bright yet subtle display of form.
Natural oil, metal, and inks over maple wood are an unlikely combination that work well for me here.
This was my first deck that allowed me to explore mixed mediums in this way.
This deck was made for a very good friend.
